James opening the gate for MJet to turn around and go home from Ballarat.
February news show was overloaded with rule changes, teQ teams at Sydney event, a new product release of the latest changeable back number insert, a truck full of stuff. But here we are and it’s March already!
The bloody Covid pandemic reared up in inner city Melbourne and all of Victoria suffered the consequences! Megan Jones travelled from S.A. to Ballarat, only about 8 hour journey, as I’m sure many others did too. Only to be bitterly disappointed to turn around and head home, OMG that sucks!!
The Sydney Eventing @ SIEC ODE 20/21 February, was a fairly sweaty weekend but I reckon the riders were cheering too loudly to hear anyone one winging about the weather! This event follows a really cool couple of lead up events, the SIEC cross country clinic, the Camden hunter trials and Wallaby Hill Extravaganza.
A well supported event, a strong field of 19 in the CNC 4*, there were 2 fields of 3* CCN and CCI , even the 2* had 2 divisions with 35 starters. Click here for all the results.
Notable inclusions in the 3* classes, our seriously amazing up and coming youngens Oliver Barrett, Charlie Richardson, Willa Mitchell and Matilda Seppelt.
The CCN 4* winner, Sam Lyle and the 2020 Eventing NSW horse of the year, BF Valour, owned by Charlotte Mavris and her mum Jenny Rissman, it’s definitely a family affair, what a horse, congratulations Sam and the team. Sit Tight is very proud to have you all on board as partners and squad members!

Wow! Sam and BF Valour over the combination in the first water. Thanks Oz Shots
Big shout out to Katie Taliana and Revelwood Wynston Street, I could be bias! A fantastic result, Katie has produced this fella from a very difficult/ problem dressage horse to an international eventer in a very short while, well done mate!

Katie and Wynnie on the way to the win!
Winners in the CCN 3* “Go Tosca”, Andy Barnett, how consistent are these two?!
Madi Simpson and the lovely TB Flying Star making the trip from Qld worth while winning the CCI 2*. The CCN 2* winner Cassilis Park Figaro ridden by Emma Bishop is a very interesting story, we better get onto that at Tamworth in March!
Hey guys we really want more “buck me moment” stories, we want to hear from you! Send via email fiona@sittightradio.com.au or our social DM’s!
February winner Paul Biancardi had a great yarn to take the inaugural winner. Congrats Paul!!
